Zoomlion ZCC5800 participates in Bangladesh nuclear power construction

Recently, Zoomlion’s overseas South Asia region and Bangladesh’s strategic customer Max successfully signed a 500-ton crawler crane, Zoomlion’s ZCC5800 crawler crane, setting a record for China’s export of the largest tonnage crawler crane to Bangladesh.
Max is the largest local construction contractor in Bangladesh. It owns more than 30 sets of Zoomlion brand cranes, tower cranes and other equipment. It is one of Zoomlion’s largest strategic customers in Bangladesh. This time it purchased ZC5800 crawlers. The hoisting is mainly used for the hoisting of the RUPPER nuclear power plant in Bangladesh.
It is understood that this project is Bangladesh’s first nuclear power plant under construction, with a total investment of US$14.13 billion. It is the country’s largest project so far. It was officially launched in November 2017. Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina personally participated in the ribbon cutting. . The project is invested and contracted by the Russian State Nuclear Power Company ASE. It is located in the Babna area, more than 200 kilometers west of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The main body of the project has a total construction period of 68 months. According to the plan, the nuclear power plant will pass two units in 2024. Deliver electricity to Bangladesh National Grid.
After more than 20 days of intense installation and commissioning at the construction site by the ZOOMLION South Asia Bangladesh team, witnessed by the general contractor and a third-party professional inspection company, successfully completed the 110% dynamic load test and 125% overload test of the ZCC5800 , And was finally delivered to MAX successfully. Both the general contractor and the customer were full of praise for the outstanding performance of ZCC5800 hoisting in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is one of the countries along China's Belt and Road. The export of Zoomlion’s 500-ton crawler cranes to Bangladesh has added a lot of color to the export of my country’s large-tonnage crawler cranes overseas.
